Our community is built around creating a positive gaming environment where players can connect, share, and enjoy games together. These rules have been established to ensure everyone has a pleasant experience.

By using GamerZone, you agree to follow these rules. Violation may result in warnings, temporary restrictions, or permanent bans depending on severity and frequency.

1. General Conduct

1.1 Respect Others

Treat all community members with respect. Discrimination, harassment, hate speech, or bullying based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, disability, or any other personal attribute will not be tolerated.

1.2 No Explicit Content

Do not post or share explicit, inappropriate, or offensive content, including but not limited to pornography, extreme violence, or disturbing imagery.

1.3 No Cheating

The use of cheats, hacks, exploits, or any unauthorized third-party software that provides an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited.

1.4 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all actions performed through your account. Do not share your account credentials with others.

2. Chat Rules

2.1 No Spamming

Avoid excessive messages, repeated content, all-caps messages, or any other disruptive behavior in chat.

2.2 Appropriate Language

Excessive profanity, especially when directed at others, is not permitted. Keep conversations appropriate for all users.

2.3 No Advertising

Promotion of external products, services, websites, or other communities without permission is prohibited.

2.4 Stay On Topic

Try to keep conversations relevant to the channel you're in. Use the appropriate channels for different topics.

3. Server Rules

3.1 Server Etiquette

Follow the specific rules of each game server. Different servers may have additional guidelines.

3.2 Fair Play

Play fairly and don't ruin the experience for others. Griefing, spawn camping, or intentionally sabotaging your team is not allowed.

3.3 Server Stability

Actions that intentionally cause lag, crashes, or otherwise disrupt server performance are prohibited.

4. Voice Chat Rules

4.1 Microphone Etiquette

Avoid background noise, music, or other disruptive sounds. Use push-to-talk if you have a noisy environment.

4.2 Respectful Communication

The same standards of respect that apply to text chat apply to voice communications. No harassment, excessive shouting, or disruptive behavior.

5. Moderation

5.1 Moderator Authority

Moderators have the final say in interpreting and enforcing these rules. Cooperate with moderators and follow their instructions.

5.2 No Rule Circumvention

Attempting to bypass or circumvent rules, filters, bans, or other moderation actions is prohibited.

5.3 Disputes

If you disagree with a moderation action, please discuss it privately with the moderator team rather than in public channels.

6. Privacy & Security

6.1 Personal Information

Do not share personal information of yourself or others, including addresses, phone numbers, or other identifying details.

6.2 Account Security

Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available. GamerZone staff will never ask for your password.

6.3 Suspicious Links

Do not share suspicious links or files that could contain malware, phishing attempts, or other security threats.

7. Reporting Violations

7.1 How to Report

If you witness a rule violation, use the report feature or contact a moderator directly. Provide as much information as possible, including screenshots or other evidence.

7.2 False Reports

Intentionally filing false reports to harass or target other users is prohibited and may result in sanctions.

8. Sanctions

8.1 Warning System

Most first-time violations will receive a warning, unless the violation is severe. Repeated violations will lead to escalating consequences.

8.2 Temporary Restrictions

Repeated or more serious violations may result in temporary mutes, kicks, or bans from specific features or the entire platform.

8.3 Permanent Bans

Severe violations or a consistent pattern of rule-breaking may result in permanent account termination.

8.4 Appeals

Users who believe they've been unfairly sanctioned may submit an appeal through our designated appeals process.
